I have a BS in Education/French K-12 from the University of Alabama in Birmingham and spent one year at the University of Reims in France.

This year starts my 17th year of teaching and my 7th year at Huntsville High School.  I've taught 4 years at Ben C. Rain (Mobile Alabama), 2 years at Buckhorn High School (New Market, AL), 2 years at Slocomb High School / Geneva County High School (Slocomb and Hartford, AL) and 2 years at Catholic High School (Huntsville, AL).

I was born and raised in Madison AL.  I started taking private French lessons in the 6th grade. The summer of my 10th grade year, I went to France and stayed with a family for a month.  I spent 5 summers with them and ended up spending a year at the University of Reims. I came back to the states my senior year of college and graduated from UAB.  I have been married 20 years and have three children ages 18, 16, and 12. I love to do a lot of things: photography, glass cutting, fusing, painting, making natural soap and weaving dream catchers.
