Principal's Corner

March Letter

March 16, 2015

HHS Parents and Students,

As we begin a very busy time of year, I would like to pass along some important information:

Registration for 2015-2016 has started. During the next few days, students are scheduled to receive information and forms. We have scheduled an informational meeting for upcoming sophomores, juniors and seniors for March 19th. The meeting will be held in the Freshmen Academy and will begin at 6:00. Our HHS counselors will be available to answers questions. Completed registration forms are to be turned in by March 31.

The 4th nine weeks has started and the end of school will be here soon. Let’s encourage our students to continue working hard as they prepare for End of Course and AP exams. HHS has a strong tradition of academic excellence and our current students are continuing to excel in the classroom.

Please review the HHS Dress Code with your students. Students will not be allowed to attend class if they are dressed inappropriately. Areas of concern are sagging pants and short skirts and shorts. In addition, girl’s tops (spaghetti straps) are a concern. The dress code can be summarized by “Pull up and Cover up”.

Thank you for your continued support of Huntsville High School. I am honored to be the Principal of such a great school! My goal is to continue the long tradition of excellence at Huntsville High School.

Our faculty and staff continue to work daily to provide our students with the best education possible. Thanks to them for their hard work and dedication.

Thank you,

Mark Mincher
