HHS Parents and Students,
It has been a busy month! We have had Awards Days, Senior Scholar Night and National Honor Society’s induction ceremony to honor academic achievement. Extra-curricular and co-curricular groups have also had awards programs. Congratulations to all our students who were honored!
Prom was a huge success. Thanks to Mr. Moon and the junior class officers for all of their hard work. I also want to thank our students for making it a special occasion. It was a great night and thanks to all involved.
Construction on the new parking lot for the Freshmen Academy has started. Parking and traffic flow patterns will change as soon as school is out for the summer. Summer parking will be very limited. Construction on the new building is scheduled to begin June 1st. I will distribute information concerning parking as the project continues over the summer.
Graduation is scheduled for May 23rd at 7:30. The class of 2013 has had a great year. It has been a pleasure working with them this year. They will leave behind a legacy of hard work, school spirit and a desire to achieve. I am proud to be their Principal.
Thank you for your support during the year. I am amazed at the support from our parents and community. All of us, together, help continue the long tradition of excellence at Huntsville High School.
We have a great faculty and staff. They have worked hard this year to provide our students with a quality education. This has been a challenging year and our staff has never wavered in their commitment to our students. Thanks to them for their hard work and dedication.
